Who we look for

Not «already a star» – but character

You don't need 100K followers. What matters:

  • A unique voice or delivery – something that sets you apart from peers.
  • Willingness to work – this is a journey, not an instant fame ride.
  • Parental support – minors can't sign a contract without it.
  • At least one track showing your direction.
Who we won't take

Honestly: where it won't work

  • «I don't make music but want to be a star» – we're not a star academy.
  • «My parents are forcing me» – the motivation must be yours.
  • «I want to be a TikTok viral hit in a week» – not our model.
  • Without at least a rough recording – there's nothing to discuss.

Who signs when the artist is under 18

Russian civil law, which governs the contracts here, splits this by age. From 14 a person exercises the rights to their own work independently, under article 26 of the Civil Code, so an author of that age holds the authorship of a track themselves. Other transactions between 14 and 18, including a distribution or management agreement, require the written consent of a parent or guardian. Under 14 a legal representative signs on the minor behalf, under article 28. From 16 a teenager who works under an employment contract or runs a business with parental consent can be declared fully capable through emancipation, article 27, and then signs alone.

What a parent should check before signing

Read what is transferred and for how long, whether the master rights stay with the artist, how royalties are calculated and reported, and how the agreement ends. Ask for the company details in advance: the label operates as Sole Proprietor T.S. Ivantsova, INN 645101160153, OGRNIP 323645700088697, and sends contracts and invoices by email.

Terms for young artists

There is no separate price list by age. Distribution costs 1,500 RUB for a single and 3,000 RUB for an EP or an album, one-time, and the release goes to 250+ stores and streaming services in 2 business days. Sending a demo is free, and the Sound Court contest is aimed exactly at artists without a release history.

Frequently asked

Can a minor release music legally?
Yes. From 14 an author exercises the rights to their own work independently, and the contract itself is signed with the written consent of a parent or guardian until 18.
Do parents have to be present?
Physical presence is not required. Consent is given in writing and the paperwork is exchanged by email.
Is there an age limit for sending a demo?
No. Demos are free to send at any age, and the legal side is handled at the contract stage, not at the demo stage.
